U.S. Northern Command Information Technologies Support Effort Awarded to bd Systems, Inc.
TORRANCE, California, , 06 January 2006 – bd Systems, Inc. will provide the U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) technologies/network service potentially valued at $13 million over two years. Under an option exercised by Air Force Space Command on an existing network services contract, the bd Systems team will provide a full range of information technology services to military units with NORTHCOM at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.
Working in partnership with NORTHCOM, the bd Systems team will provide key information technology support, including operation, maintenance, management and security of NORTHCOM computer system assets. “We are proud to have the opportunity to play a role in assisting the critical mission of NORTHCOM in homeland defense and civil support,” said bd Systems’ President and CEO, Clarisa F.
