bd Systems Announces Mentor-Protégé Relationship with Northrop Grumman Space Technology
TORRANCE, California, 21 February 2006 – bd Systems, Inc. of Torrance, California, is pleased to announce that the Department of Defense has provided formal approval for the company to form a mentor-protégé program with Northrop Grumman Space Technology, Redondo Beach, California.
The mentor-protégé program is designed to increase the small business supplier base of the Department of Defense and its individual agencies. As a protégé of Northrop Grumman, bd Systems will be provided increased opportunities to enhance technical and engineering expertise through participation on Northrop Grumman-led aerospace, defense and space exploration efforts.
