Vandenberg AFB, California, April 2005 - bd’s Vandenberg AFB
(VAFB) Team has been recognized as “VAFB Outstanding Contractor Team of the Year for 2004” by the Air Force Association
(AFA). At the 23rd Annual AFA Awards Lunch at VAFB, the Robert H. Goddard Chapter of the AFA recognized bd’s VAFB Team as the contractor team that has done the most over the past year in contributing to the mission success of one of VAFB’s many missions.
There are over 40 companies eligible to compete for the award, and we are extremely proud that our VAFB Team has won this award four times in the last six years!
The Goddard Chapter of the AFA also honored bd’s VAFB Team with the “Aerospace Associate of the Year Award” for doing more than any other contractor team to support the mission of the Chapter. We are very proud that the bd Team has earned this award for the last six years in a row!
In addition to the Team award, three bd Team members also won individual AFA Chapter Awards:
-
Christine Nelson received the Meritorious Service Award for her professionalism in supporting AFA Chapter programs and in coordinating registration at all Chapter events over the past
year;
