bd Systems, Inc wins CAASETA ID/IQ contract with Air Force Space Command
TORRANCE, California, October 2004 - Torrance, CA. bd Systems, Inc
announced that Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) has awarded it an
indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Contract
Advisory and Assistance Services and Engineering Technical Assistance (CAASETA)
for Headquarters AFSPC at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
Under the framework of the CAASETA contract,
bd Systems will compete equally with one other small business contract
awardee and two large business awardees for task orders with an
aggregate ceiling value of $610 million over a five-year period.
The bd Systems CAASETA team is comprised of 17
aerospace companies to include bd Systems, Inc., Aero Thermo
Technology; Allegis Group, Anteon Corp, Applied Research Association,
CACI, General Dynamics, L-3 Communications, CollaborX, MCRI, Morgan
Research Corp, Office Technology Systems, Inc, Overlook, Robbins-Gioia,
SAIC, Shape Technologies, LLC and Multimax. The combined strengths of
these companies will enable the bd Systems CAASETA team to support AFSPC
across the full range of their critical mission requirements.
