bd Awarded Air Intelligence Agency Contract 

TORRANCE, CA, February 2002 - bd Systems has been awarded an Indefinite Quantity Time and Material Contract with an Order Limitation of $2,900,000 over 5 years by Headquarters Air Intelligence Agency. AIA is an integral participant in the analysis of all Air Force mission areas. The Plans and Programs Directorate within AIA employs the Air Force TRIO, Modernization Planning Process and Strategic Planning Process to assess future trends and threats, identify and propose corrections to identified deficiencies, develop roadmaps and future system development, and establishes guidance and procedures to verify new systems meet operational requirements.

bd Systems has been and will continue to provide engineering services to support the TRIO, Strategic Planning Process, Mission Area Analysis and Mission Need Analysis areas, while performing studies and analyze data to establish specific system performance capabilities. The First Delivery Order is for $48K. This will and should lead to additional Contracts and Orders from AIA.
