System, Planning, Design and Implementation

Systems Planning, Design and Implementation is the effective application of scientific and engineering efforts to transform an operational need into a defined system configuration through an iterative process of requirement analysis, functional analysis and allocation, synthesis, design optimization, test, evaluation and validation.

bd provides direct technical services to the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), as well as the Air Force Program Executive Office for Space (PEO), through the Technical Acquisition Support Services (TASS) contract. bd provides Systems Engineering support to Boeing, TRW, and other major aerospace contractors in developing DoD and NASA space systems. Acquisition and sustainment technical support is also provided to the space system support groups in Colorado Springs.
